Tibor Pucheli succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 10th playminute. In the 14th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Kozák, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Siro Osasun. FlagellumDei's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Vencel Sarkady came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FlagellumDei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Puja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Félix Moravecz put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zoltán Kozák was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FlagellumDei's Károly Berta got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Félix Moravecz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FlagellumDei.
