Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Lando in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alfredo Tohias hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Elias Romelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Daniël Isla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Daniël Isla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of play. Alfredo Tohias made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Daniël Isla made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Luz Tejedor sent off a good shot on target. αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's Daniël Isla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Mina hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Daniël Isla made a huge save. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 93rd minute, Joaquin Prats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Gallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniël Isla having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
