Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Jula in the 9th minute. Aristide Crivac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 29th minute of the match, Alex Jula got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquin Gayoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 30 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Jula. Alex Jula took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Jula to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Alex Jula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes, bullfinches's Aron Costea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in bullfinches reached it. 66 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aristide Crivac. Maximiliano Escribano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, bullfinches's Claudiu Murărașu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The long shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 74th minute really tested Aristide Crivac's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 75th minute Alex Jula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eusebiu Surdilă fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored bullfinches's protests and gave Eusebiu Surdilă a yellow card for diving instead. Francisco Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aristide Crivac firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, bullfinches's Alex Jula got a free kick in the 94th minute. Uruguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
