Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Stig-Åke Gabrielsson sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Antonin Lauze with Jakub Jazowski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Mario Jakobe might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Jakobe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Doloman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dumitru Doloman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Kuuno Tälli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of the match. When Viola Invest's Kuuno Tälli in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 51st minute of play. Antonin Lauze kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Doloman having to interfere. In the 61st minute Stig-Åke Gabrielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61st play minutes Kuuno Tälli shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Rolando Noboa and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viola Invest's goalkeeper Dumitru Doloman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Gabrielsson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 75 minutes into the game, Mario Jakobe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Antonin Lauze in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Joaquin Prats. 79 minutes in the game, Eliseo Mina fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dumitru Doloman having to interfere. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. A collision led to Viola Invest getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Tobias Emander hit a great ball. Dumitru Doloman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Dumitru Doloman in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Viola Invest.
