An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Clementi in the 22nd minute of play forced Barbieri Sports's goalkeeper Breno Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Barbieri Sports's zone, Robustiano Clementi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Vergílio came out of the goal and Robustiano Clementi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Vista Alegre FC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Vista Alegre FC's Dudu Magalhães looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 25th minute, Luukas Van de Put hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breno Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Clementi in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Barbieri Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Clementi came free, but Breno Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Robustiano Clementi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Breno Vergílio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benjamin da Mata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ronaldo de Moraes made a huge save. After 48 minutes, Dudu Magalhães made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Barbieri Sports's Breno Vergílio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Benjamin da Mata made the kick off in the second half.
