Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Haskiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 16th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Onana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. André Onana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Sielce Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but André Onana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Onana came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Sielce Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but André Onana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Dante Lacasa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paulo José Maldini.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Sielce Warszawa's attentive Gunnsteinn Guðbjörnsson managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Haskiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Sielce Warszawa booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Joel Gaona was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 74 minutes, Janusz Haskiewicz made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sielce Warszawa made a substitution. Edin Džeko replaced Janusz Haskiewicz. Sielce Warszawa's Du Shu Yuan was substituted for Apolo Lia. Leonardo Leoz made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sielce Warszawa's Gunnsteinn Guðbjörnsson. André Onana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Luca Zorita took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Onana. André Onana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Kaczynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edin Džeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
