After 4 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Nestor Nuxila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Gualterio Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benicio Iban kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Loco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gualterio Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. Gualterio Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 27th minute of the match. Gualterio Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco. Gualterio Loco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrachitos FC's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Loco came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco. Gualterio Loco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Quebrachitos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Nuxila in the 53rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Celedonio Gaizkine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of play forced Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, Quebrachitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Abastas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Gualterio Loco in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Gualterio Loco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 63 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gualterio Loco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 65 minute of play. Gualterio Loco made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. After 70 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualterio Loco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Quebrachitos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gualterio Loco. The goal made the score 0-7. In the 81st minute, Ignacio Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quebrachitos FC! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute of play forced Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Gualterio Loco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Quebrachitos FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
