Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Conny Josefsson made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klas Josefsson in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klas Josefsson in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conny Josefsson. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Vilbergen Boys Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Klas Josefsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Klas Josefsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play forced Vilbergen Boys Club's goalkeeper Nils Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Tunander having to interfere. In the 25th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Egil Byström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvald Mattsson in the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Vilbergen Boys Club got a freekick which was hit by Hector Hanmark. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nils Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Nils Tunander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vilbergen Boys Club's Nils Tunander did a great save. Nils Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 43rd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Vilbergen Boys Club's Nils Tunander got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Nils Tunander to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Nils Tunander in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Nils Tunander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Osvald Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Josefsson in the 66th minute of play. The Vilbergen Boys Club fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Vilbergen Boys Club's Conny Josefsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Nils Tunander in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vilbergen Boys Club's Nils Tunander did a great save. Nils Tunander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 79th minute. Vilbergen Boys Club's Nils Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Conny Josefsson put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Osvald Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Tunander came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 90th match minute, Vilbergen Boys Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Hanmark to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
