With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Malm in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Eduardo Gomes saved AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ from getting behind. Marcos Siqueira made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Wen Xing. Zheng Li Quan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Félix having to interfere. Jens-Ove Malm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Birol Celilay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Eduardo Gomes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Di Yang Feng hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Marcos Siqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitchel Bakker didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Zhu Zhen tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Jens-Ove Malm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Ove Malm to make the kick off. Mitchel Bakker made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marcos Siqueira immediately put the ball in play. In the 52nd minute, Zheng Li Quan made a precise shot to the right of Amauri Félix. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some careless play in the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ defense, Zhu Zhen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amauri Félix. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amauri Félix should have stopped the shot. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Paulo Renato Galvão was substituted for Deivid Gaspar.
