Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ramon Tono took the kick off in the first half of the match. Palmitas's Astor Jakue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Opdebeeck in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Werken's Mats Opdebeeck got a free kick in the 5th minute. Nils Maeijnaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 played minutes Werken got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Machiels. After recieving a nice pass, Palmitas's Marcial Oalo tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Oswald Pelleman's late challenge caught a Palmitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oswald Pelleman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Werken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswald Pelleman to maneuver through the defense. Nils Maeijnaerts struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Astor Jakue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Werken. 42 minutes into the match, Palmitas's Filomeno Hotz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waud De Backer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Nils Maeijnaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas's zone, Mats Opdebeeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Jakue came out of the goal and Mats Opdebeeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nils Maeijnaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Palmitas's Elvio Ireno got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Werken were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils Maeijnaerts stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ramon Tono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ramon Tono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Marcial Oalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Nils Maeijnaerts in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Urbano Oinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waud De Backer having to interfere. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmitas's goalkeeper Astor Jakue, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mats Opdebeeck in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Astor Jakue, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nils Maeijnaerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Jakue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Mats Opdebeeck fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 87th minute, Nils Maeijnaerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bill Van Den Hout hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Elvio Ireno kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Opdebeeck got free with Astor Jakue in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas's zone, Mats Opdebeeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Jakue came out of the goal and Mats Opdebeeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Werken had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
