In the 17th match minute, Corteagada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesário Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 18 minutes, Wieslaw Orling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stokrotki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wieslaw Orling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerónimo Sacramento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Orling in the 22nd minute of the match. Jerónimo Sacramento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Kuszczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Stokrotki's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Franciszek Zahemski in the 24th minute. A collision led to Stokrotki getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Franciszek Zahemski hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Joaquim Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miromir Gabis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Avelino Pádua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerónimo Sacramento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludomir Kuszczak's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Ludomir Kuszczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Avelino Pádua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stokrotki's Miromir Gabis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miromir Gabis was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corteagada FC's goalkeeper Jerónimo Sacramento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ludomir Kuszczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute.
