Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicolaas Lanen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Waud De Backer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Di Mascio in the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Bernardo Vespa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C Francioso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Vespa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Nils Maeijnaerts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Werken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alberigo Di Mascio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 minutes, Silvain Bourgignon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Werken and the A.C Francioso players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Werken getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Silvain Bourgignon hit a great ball. Carlo De Lellis came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Werken's Frank Jansens. But to his dismay, Frank Jansens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Werken's goalkeeper Waud De Backer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Vespa. Bernardo Vespa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bill Van Den Hout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Carlo De Lellis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Silvain Bourgignon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 played minutes A.C Francioso got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Pala. When Alberigo Di Mascio came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the A.C Francioso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberigo Di Mascio couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Alberigo Di Mascio made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the game Silvain Bourgignon made a throw-in which Nicolaas Lanen played forward. Anselmo Pala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Nicolaas Lanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberigo Di Mascio in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waud De Backer saved Werken from getting behind. Alberigo Di Mascio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waud De Backer having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Silvain Bourgignon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Werken's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvain Bourgignon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo De Lellis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nils Maeijnaerts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Carlo De Lellis made a huge save. Nils Maeijnaerts struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Carlo De Lellis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Werken. In the 81st minute Alberigo Di Mascio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waud De Backer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waud De Backer came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C Francioso's Anselmo Pala. But to his dismay, Anselmo Pala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
