Nicolaas Lanen started the match with the kick off. Guillermo Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Waud De Backer made a huge save. Guillermo Perez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Waud De Backer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 11 minutes, Guillermo Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Auto Gaming's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Nicolaas Lanen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Auto Gaming's Prudencio Bizi. Prudencio Bizi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moises Bastian kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Perez got free with Waud De Backer in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Oswald Pelleman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Werken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 35 minutes into the match, Auto Gaming's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Maeijnaerts came free, but Prudencio Bizi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Guillermo Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Auto Gaming's Moises Bastian got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Moises Bastian off the ground. A collision led to Auto Gaming getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Moises Bastian hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes, Werken's Kristof Olbrechts shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Prudencio Bizi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Werken reached it. Prudencio Bizi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswald Pelleman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Werken were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Amadeo Jacindo made the kick off in the second half. Kristof Olbrechts took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Prudencio Bizi. Auto Gaming's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 56 played minutes Auto Gaming got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Goiz. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolaas Lanen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Prudencio Bizi. That made the score 2-4 in the 60 minute of play. Auto Gaming's Prudencio Bizi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Jansens in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Jansens in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Bizi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prudencio Bizi made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Nils Maeijnaerts sent off a good shot on target. When Amadeo Jacindo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Auto Gaming fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Jacindo couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Werken's Oswald Pelleman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Prudencio Bizi. Prudencio Bizi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Werken's Silvain Bourgignon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Prudencio Bizi. That made the score 2-6 after 81 minutes of play. Prudencio Bizi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristof Olbrechts in the 84th minute. Amadeo Jacindo might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waud De Backer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Jacindo ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes into the game, Silvain Bourgignon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Werken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Auto Gaming the free kick. After a rather tough play, Werken's Silvain Bourgignon got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Agustin Goiz hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Auto Gaming fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Werken were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
