Karpuzlu's Turan Coşan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Karpuzlu from getting a goal against them. Derman Kabadayı hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Besim Kutsalan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bülent Bardakçı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Turan Coşan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Karpuzlu's Hadi Abanoz got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 28 minutes, Ali Atıf Oğuztüzün mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karpuzlu and the Taşpınar Sk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ferit Taykut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beşir Bozdağ in the 30th minute of the match. When Karpuzlu's Besim Kutsalan in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taşpınar Sk's goalie prevented a goal. Beşir Bozdağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Taykut having to interfere. Turan Coşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Oykan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 played minutes Pars Sarıkaya rounded Karpuzlu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Besim Kutsalan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Taykut having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pars Sarıkaya made a kick off. Taşpınar Sk's Ferit Taykut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Taşpınar Sk from getting a goal against them. Bülent Bardakçı scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Turan Coşan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bekir Çetin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 60th play minutes Besim Kutsalan shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Ferit Taykut and just under the crossbar into goal. Taşpınar Sk's Ferit Taykut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Taşpınar Sk from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Karpuzlu booed when Taşpınar Sk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusuf Oykan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beşir Bozdağ in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferit Taykut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Beşir Bozdağ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferit Taykut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beşir Bozdağ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ferit Taykut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Pars Sarıkaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Coşan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hadi Abanoz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Taşpınar Sk's Ferit Taykut got control of the ball when Besim Kutsalan tried to sneak it across the goal line.
