Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquim Sousa took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Zeledon Uzuri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerónimo Sacramento skillfully saved the ball. In the 4th minute, Amador Bertin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Avelino Pádua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas's zone, Avelino Pádua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Jakue came out of the goal and Avelino Pádua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Astor Jakue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Sousa in the 13th minute. Elvio Ireno kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Palmitas's goalkeeper Astor Jakue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avelino Pádua. After 21 minutes, Romão Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corteagada FC and the Palmitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Corteagada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romão Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Ramon Tono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerónimo Sacramento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Palmiro Barata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Corteagada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 40th minute Joaquim Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Urbano Oinaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmitas and the Corteagada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Palmitas got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Oinaz. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Jakue was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The Corteagada FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palmitas were winning 0-1.

Corteagada FC's Jerónimo Sacramento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Tono in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Palmitas getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Filomeno Hotz hit a great ball. Astor Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Sousa in the 57th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Palmitas got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Lucian. 64 minutes into the match, Corteagada FC's Joaquim Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Jakue narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcial Oalo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Astor Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Amador Bertin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Joaquim Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corteagada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joaquim Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avelino Pádua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Astor Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Jakue came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Corteagada FC's Joaquim Sousa. But to his dismay, Joaquim Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Corteagada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romão Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Oalo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 86 minutes of play Corteagada FC's Romão Gaspar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 87 played minutes Corteagada FC got a freekick which was hit by Romão Gaspar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Tono in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerónimo Sacramento saved Corteagada FC from getting behind. With his leg Jerónimo Sacramento managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Palmitas's Filomeno Hotz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
