But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ekber Başayoğlu couldn't finish the play. Kisrécse's István Sarkady played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulmelik Tolun in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute Ekber Başayoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Sarkady saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Futbol Akademisi's goal looked a bit too open when János Győri came free, but Agah Tutuş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. János Győri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Agah Tutuş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdulmelik Tolun struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. István Sarkady didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futbol Akademisi. If Ceyhun Kazakhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boldizsár Nagy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Agah Tutuş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ekber Başayoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. István Sarkady showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulmelik Tolun in the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Ekber Başayoğlu made a precise shot to the right of István Sarkady. Kisrécse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 64th minute, Tarkan Ayazoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ekber Başayoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without István Sarkady having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulmelik Tolun in the 69th minute of play forced Kisrécse's goalkeeper István Sarkady to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Ahmet Göktuğ Karaalp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this István Sarkady quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Futbol Akademisi's Ceyhun Kazakhan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lóránd Kinizsi, made in the 75th minute of the game. Futbol Akademisi's Ekber Başayoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. István Sarkady took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulmelik Tolun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Ekber Başayoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. István Sarkady was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After a rather tough play, Kisrécse's Ottó Bertha got a free kick in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Lóránd Kinizsi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kisrécse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futbol Akademisi the free kick. After 87 played minutes Kisrécse got a freekick which was hit by Lóránd Kinizsi. Ekber Başayoğlu took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised István Sarkady. István Sarkady dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Futbol Akademisi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
