Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walter Mutuku started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Futbol Akademisi's Tony Githinji Muhoho threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Cengiz Özkutsal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 9th minute Futbol Akademisi were awarded a corner. Ahmet Göktuğ Karaalp went to the cornerflag to take it. Hayrettin Hançer lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 14th match minute, Futbol Akademisi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayrettin Hançer to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Rothwell Park booed when Futbol Akademisi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulmelik Tolun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rothwell Park's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sammy Keino in the 19th minute. After taking down the ball on Rothwell Park's corner Shekhar Biwott fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Agah Tutuş quite easily take care of the ball. Rothwell Park's Sammy Keino quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nejat Alp Taşan, made in the 23rd minute of the game. Agah Tutuş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Mutuku, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute, Walter Mutuku ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agah Tutuş was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Agah Tutuş came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Rothwell Park's Walter Mutuku. But to his dismay, Walter Mutuku quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Walter Mutuku took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agah Tutuş. Agah Tutuş dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

In the 51st match minute, Rothwell Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teófilo Vilanova to maneuver through the defense. Rothwell Park's attentive Sammy Keino managed to snatch the ball when Nejat Alp Taşan made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Walter Mutuku scored 0-4 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agah Tutuş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Walter Mutuku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rothwell Park's William Mohamed was substituted for Walter Mutuku. Agah Tutuş made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when William Mohamed sent off a good shot on target. Tony Githinji Muhoho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulmelik Tolun in the 71st minute of play. Agah Tutuş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Mohamed in the 75th minute of the match. Rothwell Park were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Futbol Akademisi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sammy Keino took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sammy Keino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agah Tutuş quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 82 minutes into the game, Sammy Nyamau threw the ball into play from the sideline. Futbol Akademisi's Ceyhun Kazakhan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 88 minutes into the match, William Mohamed had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agah Tutuş. Futbol Akademisi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Mohamed was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Ali Cengiz Özkutsal hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Rothwell Park's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
