Ramon Tono took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlo De Lellis. Carlo De Lellis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 11 minutes, Elvio Ireno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmitas and the A.C Francioso players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute Alberigo Di Mascio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Palmitas getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Zeledon Uzuri hit a great ball. Ramon Tono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo De Lellis having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Alberigo Di Mascio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Jakue. Palmitas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberigo Di Mascio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas's zone, Alberigo Di Mascio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Jakue came out of the goal and Alberigo Di Mascio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Mateo Lucian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlo De Lellis. A.C Francioso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Lucian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When Anselmo Pala came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the A.C Francioso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Pala couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Haimar made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Amador Bertin however managed to control.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramon Tono to strike the kick off in the second half. If Amador Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of A.C Francioso booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Emiliano Di Giulio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C Francioso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmitas the free kick. A collision led to A.C Francioso getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Astor Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Di Mascio in the 69th minute of the match. Andrea Benvenuto charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrea Benvenuto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Palmitas booed when A.C Francioso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Benvenuto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberigo Di Mascio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, A.C Francioso's Alberigo Di Mascio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
