Bernardo Vespa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.C Francioso's Carlo De Lellis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beşir Bozdağ in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th minute Anselmo Pala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Coşan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Karpuzlu booed when A.C Francioso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Chioda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Anselmo Pala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Coşan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Vespa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Turan Coşan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrea Benvenuto kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hadi Abanoz in the 35th minute of play forced A.C Francioso's goalkeeper Carlo De Lellis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, A.C Francioso's goalkeeper Carlo De Lellis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Besim Kutsalan. Turan Coşan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Pala went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Vespa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberigo Di Mascio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Turan Coşan. That made the score 0-2 in the 51 minute of play. Alberigo Di Mascio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Turan Coşan having to make a save. Bernardo Vespa scored 0-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Turan Coşan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Tristezza hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Besim Kutsalan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Vespa in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Turan Coşan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlo De Lellis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yağızalp Akartuna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Alberigo Di Mascio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Coşan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Vespa in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Turan Coşan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anselmo Pala kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes, Karpuzlu's Arda Süphan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlo De Lellis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Karpuzlu reached it. If Anselmo Pala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
