The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Templars FC's André Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Templars FC from getting a goal against them. Lázaro Prestes might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Courtois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lázaro Prestes ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Prestes got free with André Courtois in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lawrence Buontempo charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lawrence Buontempo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, one of Templars FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Templars FC. 32 minutes into the match, Lázaro Prestes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Courtois. Templars FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Prestes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márk Kovács in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Dziuma saved Heide FC from getting behind. If Márk Kovács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iwan Dziuma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márk Kovács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When Staffan Apelqvist came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Templars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Staffan Apelqvist couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Phoenix scored 3-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan Dziuma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lázaro Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Wiater in the 92nd minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper André Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krzysztof Wiater in the 93rd minute of the match. Templars FC's André Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Wiater in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Templars FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Heide FC.
