DARAS were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after SE Palmeiras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Volodya Biradzhiev took the corner. DARAS's Volodya Biradzhiev was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Will Muralhas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Toni Nenchev scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Will Muralhas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. DARAS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Volodya Biradzhiev in the 29th minute. If Volodya Biradzhiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Roberto Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Will Muralhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Nenchev in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Will Muralhas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Nenchev. The supporters of DARAS booed when SE Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball.
