Ramon Lopez came out of the goal and Kirstein Frydkjær tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Dennis Espeland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corralito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Espeland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anko Anko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anko Anko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute Bebeto Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anko Anko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute of the match, Adrian Pătrășcanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ramon Lopez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ramon Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Arlo in the 21st minute of play. Ramon Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bebeto Chaves couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Arlo made a kick off. Corralito AFC's Robustiano Jayvier got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Corralito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kirstein Frydkjær came free, but Ramon Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
