When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Fabian Oterino sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. In the 33rd minute, Fabian Oterino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Conceicão charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Conceicão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Atlético Grau Piura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Conceicão to maneuver through the defense. Tartalo Delatorre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Fabian Oterino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Atlético Grau Piura's Fabian Oterino got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atlético Grau Piura made a substitution. King Reyes replaced Andoni Ascarza. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Oterino made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Fabian Oterino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The throw-in from Jose Sanz in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atlético Grau Piura's King Reyes. In the 54th minute, Fabian Oterino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Grau Piura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Pardo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Fabian Oterino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. The audience was convinced that Junior Quintana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Atlético Grau Piura's attentive King Reyes managed to snatch the ball when Jose Sanz made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. 73 minutes into the game, Junior Quintana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Junior Quintana went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Quintana, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético Grau Piura.
