To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Alvarenga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Juan Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. Niko Gräber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, StopBuyingToken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominic Reichel to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, StopBuyingToken's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Juan Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. StopBuyingToken made a substitution. Necati Temizhan replaced Niko Gräber. In the 59th minute, Juarês Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind StopBuyingToken's goalkeeper Juan Alvarenga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by StopBuyingToken's Juarês Domingues. But to his dismay, Juarês Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to StopBuyingToken getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Dominic Reichel hit a great ball. With a little luck, StopBuyingToken's Juan Alvarenga got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by StopBuyingToken's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Mandl in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Domingues came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. StopBuyingToken were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
