The Nantwich fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Hanot should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the match, Nantwich's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Enrique Hanot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enrique Hanot quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Nantwich's 林悦傲 got a free kick in the 9th minute. Nantwich's Enrique Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Nantwich's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Enrique Hanot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Örjan Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nantwich's supporters crossed their fingers, but Örjan Berggren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Nantwich's Enrique Hanot. Enrique Hanot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enrique Hanot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Nantwich's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Enrique Hanot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Nantwich's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Enrique Hanot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Hanot. Enrique Hanot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. With a little luck, Nantwich's Enrique Hanot got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Fevang kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Hanot. Nantwich's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Nantwich's Enrique Hanot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Nantwich from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by 林悦傲 in the 87th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Fevang during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, André Fevang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Nantwich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Jowsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than Nantwich and deserved their victory. The Nantwich players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
