The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Keylor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Miazga in the 6th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rufus Roach during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Rufus Roach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keylor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Monni in the 10th minute of the match. When Śląsk Bytom's Ulryk Miazga in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Keylor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Monni in the 19th minute of the match. Garth Brough hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Monni came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garth Brough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Antoni Brama made a huge save. In the 26th minute of the match, Garth Brough got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antoni Brama was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Antoni Brama made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Garth Brough sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Antoni Brama managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Birkenhagen in the 36th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Keylor Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Australian Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Baba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoni Brama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Carlo Monni made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Carlo Monni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoni Brama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Śląsk Bytom booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufus Roach didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Rufus Roach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Monni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Boyd Allan. Śląsk Bytom's Hakkı Elçin was substituted for Carlo Monni. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Miazga in the 69th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Keylor Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sivert Eliasson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Ulryk Miazga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sivert Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Antoni Brama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 79th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Rufus Roach. In the 83rd minute, Śląsk Bytom's Ulryk Miazga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After some careless play in the Śląsk Bytom defense, Garth Brough kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antoni Brama. The Śląsk Bytom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antoni Brama should have stopped the shot. Keylor Navas made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Hakkı Elçin sent off a good shot on target. Hakkı Elçin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Keylor Navas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hakkı Elçin. Antoni Brama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fletcher Baba in the 97th minute of play. Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fletcher Baba in the 97th minute of play. Śląsk Bytom were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
