Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Soren Hauwaerts kicked off to start the match. Lucas Geijselinckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Matinette's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Geijselinckx came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Geijselinckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Geijselinckx having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walter Verstuyft got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patricio Costa scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Geijselinckx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Racing Matinette's Walter Verstuyft got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Soren Hauwaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Racing Matinette defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Geijselinckx. The Racing Matinette fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Geijselinckx should have stopped the shot. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th match minute, Racing Matinette was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Deferme to maneuver through the defense. Thibau Van den Haute made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Walter Verstuyft. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lucas Geijselinckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Harrie Van Den Eynden came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Soren Hauwaerts's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Racing Matinette's goalkeeper Lucas Geijselinckx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Geijselinckx having to interfere. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucas Geijselinckx came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 83rd minute. Tomas Illescas scored 0-4 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Geijselinckx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Racing Matinette's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Secada came free, but Lucas Geijselinckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucas Geijselinckx, 0-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Venezuela had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
