Marten Van den Berchen hit a great ball. Lucas Geijselinckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 6th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Geijselinckx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Matinette's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Geijselinckx came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Verstuyft who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucas Geijselinckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Geijselinckx was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soren Hauwaerts in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Racing Matinette's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Lucas Geijselinckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Geijselinckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Geijselinckx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Racing Matinette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marten Van den Berchen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Matinette's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Geijselinckx came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Lucas Geijselinckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Geijselinckx having to interfere. Lucas Geijselinckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Racing Matinette's Lucas Geijselinckx did a great save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Soren Hauwaerts to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Geijselinckx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Lucas Geijselinckx made a huge save. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Geijselinckx having to interfere. In the 68th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Geijselinckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Geijselinckx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Geijselinckx having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Enfant came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes Racing Matinette's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lucas Geijselinckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Geijselinckx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 83 minutes Racing Matinette's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Lucas Geijselinckx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 91st minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Geijselinckx. Racing Matinette's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.
