Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes The Nerd Herd got a freekick which was hit by Alin Armeanca. Marian Banass short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Dante Lacasa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 12th minute Odysseas Lagidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Marian Banas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odysseas Lagidis in the 23rd minute of play. Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 31st minute of play forced The Nerd Herd's goalkeeper Enzo Noce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Banas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in The Nerd Herd's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Noce came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alin Armeanca hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, The Nerd Herd's Jan-Kenneth Skog got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 44 played minutes The Nerd Herd got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Kenneth Skog. In the 45th match minute, The Nerd Herd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Armeanca to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Facundo Cadaval made a precise shot to the right of Enzo Noce. The Nerd Herd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Banas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Noce having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Odysseas Lagidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Nerd Herd's supporters rose to their feet, but Odysseas Lagidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Banas's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 65th minute of play forced The Nerd Herd's goalkeeper Enzo Noce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Odysseas Lagidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, The Nerd Herd's Ni Zhan Kun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 86th minute, Odysseas Lagidis made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 89th minute, Ni Zhan Kun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The attack was good, but when Alberto Tafalla in the 94th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Mexico were furious when Lorenzo Cazalla was red carded, 97 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave The Nerd Herd a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marian Banas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. 5-1. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because The Nerd Herd had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
