Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinícius Juniors to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Ugonotti got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Juniors. Carolo Camaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jan-Åke Fransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Adriano De Carolis made a huge save. Marian Gniech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rabelani Thebile in the 69th minute of play. Adriano De Carolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uluç Tekinalp in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ugonotti's Hugo Boss got a free kick in the 95th minute.
