Tuna Tankan's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enio Coelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Enio Coelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ter Stefanek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enio Coelho. In the 17th match minute, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Casado to maneuver through the defense. Ter Stefanek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enio Coelho. In the 30th minute CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS were awarded a corner. Prospero Jobo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Prospero Jobo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 42 minutes into the match, Benito Fiz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Bernd Rechmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Ter Stefanek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ter Stefanek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 52nd minute of play. When Enio Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enio Coelho couldn't finish the play. The supporters of CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute of the match, Cassius Byrne got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ter Stefanek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jacob May got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fabian Brown. In the 88th minute, Sam Campbell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 95th minute, Ramón Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
