Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 4th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Georg Söderqvist got free with Julio Vera in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play forced Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Ben Dillemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ben Dillemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. Ben Dillemans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 19 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ben Dillemans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Quirin Brauer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play forced Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Ben Dillemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ben Dillemans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in 31 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ben Dillemans guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Georg Söderqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Georg Söderqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Dillemans having to interfere. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Big Hulk was slow to take the kick. During this time Winksele 2016's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Winksele 2016's Big Hulk to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Winksele 2016's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Winksele 2016's Ben Dillemans did a great save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Theo De Moor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Dillemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ben Dillemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 58 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Ben Dillemans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Ben Dillemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Dillemans having to interfere. In the 64th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ben Dillemans was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ben Dillemans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69thth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winksele 2016's Ben Dillemans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Montenegro in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Winksele 2016's Big Hulk. 81 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Ben Dillemans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ben Dillemans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Winksele 2016 defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ben Dillemans. The Winksele 2016 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ben Dillemans should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylven Van Der Meeren in the 92nd minute of play. When Theo De Moor fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winksele 2016's protests and gave Theo De Moor a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Winksele 2016 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo De Moor didn't get a good kick on the ball.
