In the 4th match minute, Werderaner 04 Volkssport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Marotzke to maneuver through the defense. Werderaner 04 Volkssport's Nestor Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Fernandes in the 5th minute of play. GynBsb's Vivaldo Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Tiso Posse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wladimir Jungwirth in the 18th minute. Nestor Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Fernandes in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, GynBsb's goalkeeper Frederico Bertassi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Küttner. With a little luck, GynBsb's Frederico Bertassi got control of the ball when Jonas Küttner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frederico Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keith Harms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Jonas Küttner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vivaldo Fernandes made a kick off. Nestor Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Fernandes in the 53rd minute of the match. Jonas Küttner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Frederico Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keith Harms in the 62nd minute of play forced GynBsb's goalkeeper Frederico Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wladimir Jungwirth hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Fellipe Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute Wladimir Jungwirth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vivaldo Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Romero was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. GynBsb's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filipe Brito in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Anselm Kempe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Werderaner 04 Volkssport's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselm Kempe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, GynBsb's goal looked a bit too open when Wladimir Jungwirth came free, but Frederico Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
