Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Ben Dillemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Theo De Moor during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Theo De Moor hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winksele 2016 the free kick. Moises Bihar scored 1-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
