Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Billing, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of play. Peru were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Tello AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Dalmacio Pello came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Peru's Dalmacio Pello threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Tello AFC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Pastor Nofre put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Faouzi Ghoulam, made in the 88th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Van Dijck in the 91st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tello AFC were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pastor Nofre took the corner. Martin Billing made a great header on Tello AFC's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save. 柳平鹏 kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Peru played a much better game than Tello AFC and deserved their victory. The Tello AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
