Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Injuries's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Montrell came free, but Bobbi Sagi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erwin Huygens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mads Aarum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 13 minutes, Mads Aarum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Injuries's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mads Aarum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erwin Huygens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mads Aarum's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute Mads Aarum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Huygens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Mads Aarum came free, but Erwin Huygens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Injuries's Bobbi Sagi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Injuries from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Runar Flou in the 35th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Erwin Huygens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Injuries's Bobbi Sagi got control of the ball when Augusto Cordario tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Filomeno Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match, Augusto Cordario got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bobbi Sagi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Runar Flou to strike the kick off in the second half. Erwin Huygens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolfgang Thøstrup in the 57th minute of the match. Bobbi Sagi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Cordario in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Injuries's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Montrell came free, but Bobbi Sagi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Montrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Velez Sarsfield's Yiyo Bernal was substituted for Marcos Pacifico. Velez Sarsfield's Ago Tramp was substituted for Filomeno Montrell. Velez Sarsfield's Leandro Berti was substituted for Ignacio Berenguer. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
