JIANGSU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 郭强林 having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 郭强林 was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Montenegros short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got 郭强林 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but 郭强林 made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with 郭强林 in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita, in the 89th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. With a little luck, JIANGSU FC's 郭强林 got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Östen Gunnarsson struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JIANGSU FC. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
