In the 17th match minute, FC GURZUN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolas Kafkalas to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nae Hurmuzache's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 2-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Nae Hurmuzache elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Seco. 52 minutes into the match, Nae Hurmuzache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. When Arturo Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Arturo Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC GURZUN booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nae Hurmuzache hit a great ball. FC GURZUN made a substitution. Matei Cozmâncă replaced Nikolas Kafkalas. Nae Hurmuzache kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 9-0 became the score in the 88th minute when Nae Hurmuzache elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With his leg Sérgio Vargas managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 96 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of FC GURZUN's Sérgio Vargas. Sérgio Vargas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC GURZUN fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
