The supporters of Risca Faca IMT booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Aparecido came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Azevedo in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Azevedo in the 93rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Augusto Duarte during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Risca Faca IMT throughout the match.
