But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Carballar couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the game, Pepe Argento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Pepe Argento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 16 minutes in the game Glauco Sarmento did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pepe Argento. Joshua Garrido might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Erramun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joshua Garrido ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stat Veritas FC's Mauricio Erramun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 22nd minute of play. Emilio Ihintza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute of play forced Stat Veritas FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Erramun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 41st minute. Colombia's Axel Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mauricio Erramun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Mauricio Erramun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauricio Erramun. Mauricio Erramun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Stat Veritas FC made a substitution. Fernando Dantae replaced Ciriaco Tanio. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Dantae in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Kevin Mastache reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauricio Erramun. The goal made the score 2-3. Stat Veritas FC's Mauricio Erramun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 66th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Stat Veritas FC's Fernando Dantae made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. If Fernando Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Dantae in the 78th minute of play. Stat Veritas FC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johan Gelin took the corner. Santino Seco thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Pedro Manzanares, a very annoying self made goal in the 80th minute which led to 4-3. Mauricio Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 82nd minute of the match. Mauricio Erramun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Dantae scored 5-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacio Mastache took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Erramun. Mauricio Erramun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. Stat Veritas FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colombia for a fine match.
