Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Paraguay booed when Legion of Boom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Suárez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a free kick in the 4th minute. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Vargas in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rony Teixeira was slow to take the kick. During this time Legion of Boom's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Legion of Boom's corner Rony Teixeira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacobo Nores quite easily take care of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Legion of Boom's Abdi Ufki. Abdi Ufki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chiquinho Vargas got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luisito Suárez. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Chiquinho Vargas took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jacobo Nores to make any attempt to save it. Giovanni Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legion of Boom. A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Chiquinho Vargas with Giovanni Alagoano as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Alagoano in the 33rd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanni Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legion of Boom. When Jaime Pardo fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Jaime Pardo a yellow card for diving instead. Jaime Pardo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Jaime Pardo got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jaime Pardo hit a great ball. Luisito Suárez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chiquinho Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisito Suárez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Suárez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovanni Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Suárez in the 70th minute of the match. If Luisito Suárez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Legion of Boom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Suárez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Luisito Suárez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legion of Boom's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Suárez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chiquinho Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiquinho Vargas made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
