Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tello AFC's Uriel Cordearo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Faustino Unax kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After 19 minutes, Martin Billing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tello AFC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tello AFC's Martin Billing got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmacio Pello saved Tello AFC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dalmacio Pello. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Cordearo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dalmacio Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Cordearo in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dalmacio Pello. That made the score 1-2 after 58 minutes of play. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Cordearo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Nofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Cordearo in the 69th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Cordearo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Faustino Unax who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dalmacio Pello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Cordearo's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Cordearo in the 85th minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Dalmacio Pello made a huge save. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Cordearo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
