Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) USA's Cassius Byrne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ToCoTaN FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 15th minute of play forced ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after ToCoTaN FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Diego Bradley heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With an all-out effort, ToCoTaN FC's Marco Day threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simon Wallin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edelmiro Veronica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of USA booed when ToCoTaN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edelmiro Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes ToCoTaN FC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Pagomari. Monty Rogers might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edelmiro Veronica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Monty Rogers ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vic Wijnants in the 44th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vic Wijnants in the 51st minute of the match. When Vic Wijnants came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the ToCoTaN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vic Wijnants couldn't finish the play. Edward Mcdonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edelmiro Veronica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Mcdonald ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vic Wijnants in the 58th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 62nd minute of play forced ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Diego Bradley hit a great ball. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Diego Bradley kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Rubén Montt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Edelmiro Veronica in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Sam Campbell could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Edelmiro Veronica however easily saved by the left post. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. After 90 played minutes ToCoTaN FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Quirce. The long shot by Jenson Smith in the 90th minute really tested Edelmiro Veronica's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
