Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off. Pascual Carballar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Robinho de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nova Venécia-ES's Leonel Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Leonel Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nova Venécia-ES's Robinho de Salles. Robinho de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Tavares in the 17th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Natã Quintal 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Gustavo Botelho. 30 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Tavares came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Dino Tavares scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 39 minutes, Luis Cazalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Cazalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Gonsalve Alabern made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Robinho de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 44th minute of play forced Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Robinho de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Luís Gustavo Botelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Venécia-ES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Natã Quintal made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Quintal in the 51st minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abram Sarmiento took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho de Salles. Robinho de Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 58th minute, Axel Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Robinho de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 69th minute Leonel Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Robinho de Salles in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nova Venécia-ES's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Santino Seco scored to the left of an out of position Robinho de Salles, making the score, 3-4. Robinho de Salles was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Ignacio Mastache capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ignacio Mastache really showed his touch with that goal: 3-5. After 91 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Quintal in the 93rd minute of play. Samuel Navarro lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 95th minute, one of Colombia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Colombia. The referee gave Nova Venécia-ES a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Natã Quintal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. 5-5. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Nova Venécia-ES players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
