Randkleve's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucjan Sedzikowski quite easily take care of the ball. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Sedzikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucjan Sedzikowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Randkleve's Lucjan Sedzikowski. Lucjan Sedzikowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucjan Sedzikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Sedzikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucjan Sedzikowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 37th minute of the match. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Randkleve's Al Bundy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Bundy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liu Hui Qi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Al Bundy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Al Bundy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Al Bundy in the 59th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes of play, Randkleve's Al Bundy made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Tafalla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Lucjan Sedzikowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Lucjan Sedzikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Hui Qi in the 71st minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Hui Qi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. Randkleve's Basilio Ramírez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mexico. The supporters of Randkleve booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Randkleve fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
