When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Cassius Byrne put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Kieca. 12 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Russówek's Daniel Kieca. Daniel Kieca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Montez in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Russówek getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ryszard Skonieczny hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Daniel Kieca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, USA's Cassius Byrne made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Kieca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Day stood somewhat misplaced when Ryszard Skonieczny came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 31 minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Gregorio Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Russówek's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Montez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Montez in the 40th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Russówek's Tymoteusz Watarz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryszard Skonieczny made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Gregorio Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Russówek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Montez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Kieca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 58th minute Gregorio Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Kieca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 59th minute. Russówek were furious when İzzet Demirtuğ was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 61st match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İzzet Demirtuğ to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Cassius Byrne in the 61st minute really tested Daniel Kieca's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With his leg Daniel Kieca managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when USA's Cassius Byrne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
