The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruno Pascal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Perpinya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Deportivo Gamberro's goalkeeper Bruno Pascal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Ambrosio Kepa struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Gamberro. Alvaro Henrico's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Henrico helped the player get up and apologised. Alvaro Henrico kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Niceto Perpinya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Perpinya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
