Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Lance Cabezas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AA GUARULHOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Remigio Finlay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remigio Finlay might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remigio Finlay ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Finlay, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AA GUARULHOS's Carlinhos Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save AA GUARULHOS from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Carlinhos Freitas made a huge save. A hard shot 80 in the game by Lautaro Mancebo from a close distance when the talented Carlinhos Freitas managed to make a qualified save. AA GUARULHOS's players were relieved. Macos Graciani made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joel Gaona. If Fletcher Greenan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
