The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as STAL ST WOLA's Wladyslaw Motowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Vargas. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. When NEGRITUDE FC's Júlio Salles in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of STAL ST WOLA booed when NEGRITUDE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trent Alexander-Arnold didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 minutes, Stefan Spychalski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the STAL ST WOLA and the NEGRITUDE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stefan Spychalski kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Júlio Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Burdzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Benedykt Rawa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. STAL ST WOLA's Roland Burdzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Salles in the 26th minute of play. Ernesto Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Rawa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedykt Rawa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Vargas having to interfere. With a little luck, NEGRITUDE FC's Ernesto Vargas got control of the ball when Wladyslaw Motowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernesto Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kylian Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, STAL ST WOLA's Boguslaw Nowak got a free kick in the 44th minute. Roland Burdzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Queiroz in the 45th minute of the match. Kylian Lewandowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Júlio Salles made the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kylian Lewandowski in the 50th minute of play. Roland Burdzel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Salles's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Júnior Pereira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roland Burdzel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Roland Burdzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Benedykt Rawa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, NEGRITUDE FC's Kauan Leão seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kauan Leão the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of NEGRITUDE FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kauan Leão had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 59 minutes into the game, one of NEGRITUDE FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. NEGRITUDE FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sydney Queiroz in the 69th minute. A nice corner shot did that Júnior Pereira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roland Burdzel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Macedo in the 70th minute of play forced STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roland Burdzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trent Alexander-Arnold during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Trent Alexander-Arnold hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ernesto Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Rawa in the 78th minute of play. Ernesto Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Motowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the NEGRITUDE FC defense, Wladyslaw Motowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Vargas. The NEGRITUDE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Vargas should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, STAL ST WOLA's Boguslaw Nowak got a free kick in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in STAL ST WOLA's zone, Inácio Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Burdzel came out of the goal and Inácio Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When NEGRITUDE FC's Baltazar de Castro in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STAL ST WOLA's goalie prevented a goal. Júlio Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Roland Burdzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Roland Burdzel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 95 played minutes NEGRITUDE FC got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Macedo. STAL ST WOLA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
