Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 15thth minute of the game Monty Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Obscurials's Zheng Chao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Adriano Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, USA's Raphael Moore got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Ribeiro. In the 31st minute, Adriano Ribeiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Day. The goal made the score 2-0. 35 minutes into the match, The Obscurials's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Zheng Chao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 38th minute of play forced The Obscurials's goalkeeper Zheng Chao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zheng Chao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Zheng Chao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 50th minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Adriano Ribeiro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Obscurials's Zheng Chao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save The Obscurials from getting a goal against them. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Zheng Chao made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, The Obscurials's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Zheng Chao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Anders Westerstrand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Anders Westerstrand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 66th minute of play forced The Obscurials's goalkeeper Zheng Chao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Edward Mcdonald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Zheng Chao was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, USA's Zheng Chao threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adriano Ribeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, The Obscurials's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Zheng Chao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, The Obscurials's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Zheng Chao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Adriano Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
